Why don't words show up readable on my console?

Thank you ifixit for the prievious answer. I got my NES working but when I turn it on, any on-screen words are distorted beyond recognition. Yes, I blew on the cartridge and into the system. The sound and color is perfectly fine, but the words are unrecognizable.
