Trouble with power button after repairs recently.

I do repairs for 4th gen front assemblies often, and didn't have a trouble for a long time, but more recently I have been having trouble after putting it back together.

I'm especially careful when removing the midplane as to not ruin or rip and ribbons, and nothing appears to go wrong from what I see, but I'm still having the problem of the power button not working at all, or being intermittent after it's back together. Volume buttons still work great, which I don't understand since it's on the same ribbon.

Problem persists even after restoring and rebooting.

Any advice or any ideas of what I could be doing wrong?

The volume button and the power button are on the same ribbon but they have separate solder joints on the logic board. My guess is that the cable is either damaged (partially torn maybe?) or that they have somehow come off of the logic board.
