iPhone 4 water damage don't turn on and flash light always on
Hi everyone,
I have an iPhone from a friend who dropped his iPhone 4 in the pool during the holidays. It does not turn on. By reflex, he put in a bag of rice to try to dry. He left it in for two weeks. But still no sign of life.
Returning from vacation, he gave it to me to see if I could do something. I removed the motherboard and allowed to dry for another two weeks in another bag of rice.
After two weeks I put the motherboard to another iPhone 4. First sign of life possible. The flash from the camera lights continuously.
Do you think there is something to do with this motherboard or she is definitely dead?
Thank you in advance for your answers
Update
Hi,
Sorry for the response time. But the motherboard started magically after six months immersed in a bag of rice. It works well now. A little hot at times but it does not create problems.
Thank you for your help.
Is this a good question?

The fact that it does anything is a good sign I would say. It doesnt mean that its definitely fixable but I'd say theres a chance. There are things to do for water damage.
