Trying to Replace Screen, Glass didn't have the bracket?

I broke the screen on my iphone 4. Bought a glass replacement on Ebay. When It came I disassembled the device all the way to the screen. Then I noticed that there was no bracket on the new glass, and the LCD wasn't attached to the glass like in the videos. I emailed the company and they sent me two adhesive strips to attach the glass to the old frame. I'm not sure how that is going to work or if it's even a good Idea. Where do I go from here, and if I can use the old bracket where do I find the instructions to do so?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Unfortunately It doesn't. I know how to replace the screen and all that, the only problem, is all of those guides are based on having a replacement glass that has the lcd, glass and bracket as one piece, I bought one online that didn't come with a bracket at all and the lcd isn't attached to the glass. :(
