Two exact phones, one screen is cracked the other is fine.

I have two iPhone 7 Plus’, one screen is cracked and the other is fine. Since the home button is the only thing tied to the logic board is should be fine just removing the home buttons when I switch the screens and ok to leave the ear piece and camera housing?
