I accidentally broke my Vertical Sync cable whilst doing a repair.

I was reparing my iMac, I’ve opened a couple macs before. I accidentally broke the vertical sync cable. What is this cable for?

My iMac now turns on but It only boots halfway and turns off. What could the issue be? Is it because of the the vertical sync cable? Or is there something else? If the issue is with the vertical sync cable? Can I buy a replacement vertical sync cable and then install it?

The iMac in question is mid-2011 27 inch. All answers appreciated

Answer this question I have this problem too

IMac 27” mid-2011 doesn’t have V-Sync cables. You must mean something else.

It does sound like you have other problems here. What where you fixing or changing out?
