Why half of my monitor isn't funtion?

When i turned on my laptop half of my screen isn't working well.. (the screen blurring half). The graphic card seems to be fine when i using other pc monitor..

Please help me to find out the problem because i want to purchase the lcd only instead of full pieces for my macbook pro.. Please let me know that i make a right decision.. Thanks all for ur support..

Options

This is usually a CCFL backlight failure. I've tagged a lot of questions and labeled them half screen problems. Do a search for "half screen problem" on this site. I have not tried replacing these tubes. Please give us the last three figures of your serial number so we can get you to the correct part and guide.
