My iPhone was in water for like 2 seconds and it turned off

This is entirely my fault me and my friends wanted to test out the iPhone 7plus water resistance feature so we put it in a inch of water and it completely turned off and I was so scared I tried turning it on and that didn’t work so I threw it in rice overnight and it still didn’t work so I took it home and a couple months later I opened the phone and checked the water damage indicator and it was white and was confused so I replaced the battery and it still didn’t work can y’all tell me what to do

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The water indicator doesn't necessarily mean it didn't get wet. First rice doesn't do anything except get stuck in the charging port. The first thing you should have done is open the phone and disconnect the battery. Try connecting it to iTunes and see if it recognizes the phone. If it doesn't recognize the phone I would recommend taking it to a repair shop.
