iPhone X Screen Replacement - Camera

After a screen replacement while keeping the original front faceID sensor, the front camera is now cloudy and FaceID will not work. Would replacing the camera work?

Options

If you change the front camera face Id will not work. Check the screen and make sure there aren't plastic covering the holes the front camera see through. Make sure the protective lens on the screen are clean. But don't touch the front cameras actually lens
