No Sound From Headphone Jack Or 30-Pin Docked, No Logic Board Avail.
I have an 80GB, A1136 iPod 5th Gen that works flawlessly in every way, but it will not play audio through the 3.5mm jack or the 30-pin connector while docked. I do not have any available logic board for this, Part No. 820-1975-A, and I do not have the materials to properly resolder the IC responsible. Any suggestions for a fix?

It is also worth mentioning that I tried to make a paper shim to place over the IC before closing the case, and this has not changed the abilities of the iPod at all. I cannot get it to play, even with pressure between the clickwheel and bottom right corner.
The iPod syncs fine, accesses the drive fine, plays video and appears to play music fine, but I just cannot get any audio out of it at all. I even tried using it with the A1153 dock, and I still don't get any audio signal.
