We need to see what it looks like, and where it is. Sounds like a head gasket issue since yellow usually points to that.

I took a shot in the dark to put an answer out, but I aimed in the direction with the best chances.

You can get a head gasket tester that can check if it has carbon monoxide in the cooling system to verify. You can also see if you have a cylinder missing which can tell you which cylinder has the leak.

@barriphone It's almost certainly the head gaskets and other seals. Classic Nissan defect post Renault. Individual testing is redundant - even one leaking is still a leak.

The only individual test worth *doing* is a cylinder pressure test.

It will probably have a cylinder misfire code in it and what cylinder it is.

Check for a head gasket leak - these 2000-present Renault Nissans regularly blow out hed gaskets once they start to run up mileage that is just broken in on a Toyota or Honda. You can get a kit on Amazon to confirm, but I wouldn't be surprised with a Renault Nissan.

We don’t know which engine you have, but the risk goes up at the 90k+ mile range and gets worse as you near 100k. You can find a head gasket kit here (all seals and bolts). To do every seal requires the engine to come out, so you may need to defer this to a mechanic due to bad Nissan design. Valve body shouldn't be TOO hard. Be warned for a lot of Nissan/Renault engined the head gasket is a known PITA job.

It water or antifreeze is the oil. It sounds like a blown head gasket or a cracked head.
