My PlayStation’s light doesn’t turn green

I have a PS3 Super Slim and when it’s connected it has a red light (the red light doesn’t flash btw) and when I click on the red light it doesn’t turn green, it just stays red, as if I didn’t press it in the first place.

Also before that when I would turn the PlayStation on it would take a while to turn green. It would also turn itself on and off. A day later the PS3 had the problems above
