I had dropped my iPod now wont turn on at all

well i had dropped it from waist height onto my concrete driveway and now wont even turn on. i have checked the battery it checks out 4v coming out board from what i can see is still good but not sure where to test but just up in the air as to what parts to but if i have to

I'm sorry but I don't think anyone here with any sense can help you. The pod needs to opened, examined for breakage and the parts tested. You could contact iFixit and tell them what happened and see if they might make you an offer on it for parts but they would probably was to see too. Or you can sell it on eBay. Or you can take a deep breath and go to: iPod 5th Generation (Video)

and follow the guides to take it apart, identify the part you need, order it and put it back together. The confidence this can bring you is incalculable. With confidence and a quide you can fix just about anything.
