Can I replace trackpad without removing battery

I am wondering if it’s possible to replace the trackpad without pulling the battery out, I ask this because it looks like it’s under the battery

Sadly, Apple didn’t make provisions to get to the trackpad without first removing the battery ;-{

The good news is they saw their folly! And the newer Touch Bar systems touchpad can be replaced without removing the battery! But that’s not helpful here.
