So I am thinking of selling my iPhone XR that broke to buy an 11, but it doesn’t have a sim tray or screen, I know I can replace the screen but I wonder if I can use my sim tray from my xr
Is this a good question?

I mean, you can, but it’s only worth a couple dollars. If you have FaceID components you can sell the board. I would just replace the screen and resell.

Oh I see my question is confusing, my Xr the only thing wrong is the battery although under warranty apple wont fix It unless I pay 400 dollars to fix a .5mm gap in the back glass, I am trying to buy an 11, The one I found doesn't have a screen or simtray, I can get a screen but my question is can i reuse the sim tray. if not is there a place i can buy one ( maybe also get the correct imei on it)
@ifixiphone if the battery is an issue, take it to a local repair shop and pay roughly $40-$60 to get it done. Alternatively you can order parts, like a new sim tray and screen from here. But getting your battery replaced in your XR will most likely be the cheaper option. Just make sure that whoever does the work has a good reputation and definitely ask about their warranty policy.
The batter expanded and pushed out the glass, and I’ve wanted to upgrade for a while p, just don’t have all to much money.
@ifixiphone ok a new screen and a new battery will still run less than a slightly newer phone with minimal upgrades. But that's just my point of view.

Be carefull when buying a iphone without screen and simtray (you can’t check the imei nr), connect ithe iphone to laptop or pc to check if it isn’t icloud locked !
You can buy a simtray on Ali website and let them print custom imei .
