swap iPhone xs, iPhone x motherboards

my iphone x has motherboard issues, not working properly and my iphone xs front, back glass broken. I am planning to replace my iphone x motherboard with iphone xs(including face Id) so that I will have atleast a perfectly working ‘iphone’ with ‘iphone xs motherboard’, ‘iphone x housing’(housing includes all the electronics of iphone x except face Id) . Does this work? any suggestions?

No unfortunately you cannot put an XS into an X housing the screw holes will not line up for a start.
