Why can't I add anymore songs in my iPod

Problem with my ipod is i can't add anymore songs in my ipod through itunes. i don't know whats wrong with it. and i seriously don't want to restore it coz that wud be lossing lots of songs...,

Oh yes, I almost forgot. If you restore your iPod on the computer that you use to sync it, you will not lose your songs...they should be in the iPod library. Exactly what iPod do you have?

Use iPod Rip or Senuti -both free (google to find) to get your songs off if got from another computer

Is your iPod recognized by iTunes? Have you checked to see how much room you still have. There is a status bar under itunes that will tell you the free space. You should back up your iPod by using itunes or some other program,
