Does command+option+P+R not work with the 12'

Does powering on

while holding down

command+option+P+R

and waiting for the second chime

not work for a 12" Powerbook G4

I found that sequence on Mac support pages

I do know that model does not have a separate PRAM battery

Try resetting the PRAM through Open Firmware:

Boot Mac while simultaneously holding CommandOption+OF

When at the command prompt type the following:

reset-nvram <Enter>

reset-all <Enter>

The Mac should now reboot into OSX with a reset PRAM.

I just tried it on a 12" G4 1.33 and I could zap the PRAM with keyboard commands. Also tried it on a 12" iBook 700 MHz and it works.
