Changed Ram and HDD = Dead Aspire One ZG5

Hello,

I just replaced the ram with Lexar 1Gb DDR 800/667/533, and 250Gb HDD. The netbook will not turn on at all, thought Ram was issue so put back old Ram, made sure followed all iFixit guide, again will NOT turn on.

Tried the Bios flash recovery steps but confused to file names and version I should use, either way the info I got, the netbook still didn't come on at all, no indicators lights.

I am super frustrated with this, I had this for about three years, worked fine tried to upgrade a little, killed it.

Please help if any, would be nice.

If you tried to flash the unit and did not complete it successfully you may bricked your motherboard. For the record Crucial says the memory for your netbook should be PC5300--the memory you used was PC6400. At this point I would suggest you remove both the main battery and the cmos battery and leave them out for at least an hour. You can reinstall and try to boot again. I wish you good luck but if this does not work you may need a motherboard. Look on ebay for a duplicate netbook with a bad LCD. I am including a link to the correct memory.
