thanks for quick responses.
The keyboard was replaced because it is 4' years old and keys have fallen off and were not able to be snapped on again.
Before replacement the G3 12 inch was working perfectly, just the keyboard keys fell off.
Nothing has been spilled, no damage.
Installation was simple and no problems plugging in keyboard.
Battery has full charge,
Thanks for any ideas or help.

likewise the wireless card, if either are loose hangs can result.

What G3 do you have? The Lombard and Pismo for instance use two different keyboards although either will fit in the other. They will not , however function properly in the wrong computer. Ralph
