Grandson dropped it cracked screen
My iPad was usable with the cracked screen, but now the screen is black and not usable, help, too expensive to fix at Apple.

Ifixit has a screen for 400 dollars. You can probably get the screen put on professional for around 400 dollars. I would look around and get a couple of quotes from independent repair shops.
