Stripped screws on MacBook Air

Hi have a A1466 early 2015 MacBook Air and I’m trying to do a screen replacement but I’ve stripped 5 screws on the bottom of the MacBook because of the bad quality of the screwdriver now they’re very stripped as I’ve tried to have another individual look at them. I’m wondering how to take these screws out to continue with my screen replacement. What would happen if I just pulled the case off with my hands? What would be the best way to do this, I’ve tried many many methods and can’t find a solid way to get these out. Can I consult somebody over email or over the phone maybe? Thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

youre going to need a screw extraction tool .

usually these are pretty successful. google EASYOUT and find the appropriate size for those screws. since they dont have alot of torque behind them it shouldnt be to difficult.

as for trying to force it open with the screws still in place you will for sure break the case. i wouldnt recommend doing that at all. get the proper tools for the extraction and id say order the tools needed from IFIXIT.com since their products are top notch. its all i use for electronics repairs! i hope this helps!
