MacBook air 13" not turning on after IOS Catalina update

My macbook air won’t turn on. During the week it slowed down and i thought it could be lack of storage and or needs to be updated to the new IOS. I then deleted a few apps and updated to the new IOS, however, when i restarted as it was required, my laptop completely turned off. I tried restarting my RAM, the control shift option and power on option but nothing seems to work. I plugged my charger in and it seems to be charging, however, the light flickers from green to orange then to green and stays like that. My mac was working perfectly fine throughout the other weeks and suddenly this happens. I’m not quite sure what’s wrong. Can you help somehow?

Well one option is to boot it up using Command+R+Power. This will boot you up into macOS Recovery. From here you can install a fresh copy of Catalina. Another more drastic option is in macOS Recovery, you can wipe the whole hard drive entirely. Then from there you can either reinstall macOS Catalina or shut the computer back down and boot up using the same key combo. This will then boot you up into Internet Recovery were you can install the original software the computer came with (High Serra is my guess). One more kinda drastic choice is replacing the ssd. Maybe the computer lost power during the update or another unseen issue that screwed up the ssd. All of these methods I have used in the past, and I have had success with them.

So my mac turned back on. It needed strong internet, however, it's slow.

So you can wipe the hard drive using the MacOS recovery tool by powering on the computer while pressing command+r then once you boot up in recovery os navigate to disk utility and find the Macintosh HD Drive. Go to the task bar above that and click erase it will completely wipe the drive... Everything will be gone so I strongly suggest backing up the computer.
