Motorola Moto Z4 Charging Port Replacement

How do I remove the charging port from the board to replace it?

I tried as I have replaced a number of other soldered ports. This seems permanently adhered with some kind of enamel. Not to mention two rows of contacts, one in front and on top of the other. No idea how to get it off safely.

Get a MotoMod battery pack with it's own change port. Morphie makes one. There are some with wireless charging built in.

You'd think that's a simple fix / workaround (I certainly did),... Unless the problem with the Z's port is that it thinks it's powering an external peripheral, in which case the phone seems to not draw power from the Modpack.
