Microphone not working after washing

Put the AirPods through the wash and microphones stopped working. Any tips on fixing this? Ultrasonic bath in distilled water? Soak in isopropyl?

Surprisingly the audio is still gtg.

Unfortunately, running these in an ultrasonic bath or soaking in ISO won’t fix them. The Airpods are not designed to be taken apart and not designed with repairability in mind.

I would advise against trying to soak these in any liquid as there is no way to remove the battery let alone disconnect them without destroying them.
