Moving Logic Board de 1.7Ghz a 1.8Ghz

My MacBook Air 13” mid 2011 (EMC2469 or A1369) has a failure on the logic board and I need a new-one, taking advantage of this and by the short stock of these parts, Is possible to move to the 1.8Ghz Intel Core i7, same year same model but the top version of these year? Currently use a 1.7Ghz Intel Core i5. Is possible? What kind of problems or issues can I have?

I appreciate it!!

Answer this question I have this problem too

It appears that the top-end logic board you mentioned will fit in your MacBook Air. You shouldn’t have any problems :)
