Main microphone extremly low in calls, good in apps.

The problem: When I make or receive a call the person on the other line can just hear me like im barely whispering, often not getting a word of what Im trying to loudly get them to hear. If I talk louder and directly into the mic they can hear me better, but its not very practical.

What really bothering me is that the mic works properly in every application I have tried that involves the mic.

I know people have the same problem more or less, I just haven't found someone that describes it exactly as mine.

I haven't done much other than trying to clean the earphone jack and the cover for the mic.

What does usually makes the trick for this problem?

You should try to restore your iphone from itunes. Take back-ups before restoring. If restoring does not help, you may want to use your earbuds that you got with your iphone.

I would also Check the hole near the earphone jack.

It is the second microphone used to balance the main one. It might be obstructed or smth.
