Dishwasher will not clean

I have a Whirlpool Model WDF520PADM5 the problem is, it will not clean. I have replaced the water inlet valve and the float switch. I can hear the water filling up then it clicks for the next cycle but nothing happens. When I push the cancel/drain button all the water goes out. I have cleaned all the arms and filters as well. Still no luck. Please help

Circulation Pump

The circulation pump uses a motor and impeller to force water up through the wash arms. If the circulation pump is defective, the dishes won’t be cleaned properly. If the motor isn’t making any noise or is just making a humming sound after the dishwasher has filled, the motor may be burned out. First, ensure that power is getting to the motor. Second, to ensure that the impeller can turn, check the pump housing for debris. If power is getting to the motor and the pump is clear of debris, the motor might need to be replaced. Be aware that the circulation pump may be challenging to replace, although many do-it-yourselfers have been successful with the replacement.

If you can't get your dishwasher to start the cycle it might be due to something simple like a burned fuse. There are times when there is a problem with the door switch that prevents the unit from starting the cycle. Also a broken door latch would cause the same thing to happen.

Thermal Fuse: The thermal fuse is designed to shut off power if the dishwasher overheats. If this fuse blows the dishwasher will not start. You can test the thermal fuse with a multimeter and replace as required.

Door Switch: If the door switch does not engage the dishwasher will not run. The dishwasher will think the door is still open. Test the door switch with a multimeter for continuity.
