Does the PS3 slim 320gb CECH-3001B have universal psu ie 110-240V?
Will the PS3 Slim 320GB CECH-3001B work in Europe or Asia with power 220-240 V because on its cord tag of 120V/60 hertz is wrttten?
Is this a good question?

Check this answer from another question "cling1 if you check on here and here you will find that the PSU is multiple voltage as the teardown on page step 12 shows. Good Luck and have a safe trip...verify on here
I think the reason why it says it on the cord is because you will have to change the cord. It wont fit other electrical outlet's.....good luck

Well I took the chance and can confirm that it DOES work! With only a plug adapter, I plug straight into the 220V socket and I get it to work with no issues. It IS a dual voltage power supply.
Excellent job....:-) enjoy your posting!!!
ive been waiting for answer and still none i have the same model help us guys.
eric, did you check the links listed above? They do show that the PSU IS DUAL Voltage...:-)
on my ps3 slim cech 3001b, the tag that says 120v 1.8a 60hz is stuck underneath the console itself and not on the cord. also, in the support and safety manual, it says the same thing. do you guys think it's still dual voltage?
I have a CECH-3001B , bought it in USA. It says 120v 1.8a 60hz in the console itself.
I am in Argentina and works perfectly well in 220v.
So I confirm the console is multi-voltage even if it says it's not.
