The (=+) key does not work, it is not sticky. It does not come off.

+= right by the backspace key will not register when pressed down

Hi,

Have you tried connecting a USB keyboard and operating the =/+ key on it just to eliminate the remote possibility that it is not the laptop keyboard that is the problem?

According to this supplier the individual key should be able to be replaced.

If you can’t get it off as shown in the video in the link above then you’ll have to replace the keyboard.

The keyboard is part of the palmrest assembly.

To gain access to the palmrest assembly you will have to completely dis-assemble the laptop.

Replacement palmrest assemblies are available online. Just search online for Dell Chromebook 11-3120 palmrest assembly part to get results for suppliers.
