Vizio 55" D Series TV Right side of screen has noise and distortion

When TV is reset it turns on, shows the Vizio signal, then will display the normal content on the left side (picture shows black in this area). One day the right half suddenly showed noise and distortion as show in the picture. This is a 55" 4K D Series TV. After a reasonably short amount of time, the TV turns off. Then when powered up again, the power indicator comes on (bottom left) then fades out and no image is shown at anytime on the screen. Will stay this way until unplugged for a short amount of time.

Model is D55U-D1

@rookieman could be a T-Con board or LVDS cable issue. Most commonly this is caused by a failed LCD driver board which is part of the panel due to its bonding of the cables to the panel. I would at least try a different t-con board just to rule it out.

T-Con board did not solve the problem. However, replaced main video board (not panel), problem solved.
