wd ultra is not connecting to my mac

Hello everyone

I have a 2TB wd ultra passport, it was working with my mac before, but suddenly. It is password protected by wd locker.

i changed cables, i connected it to another mac. sometimes it shows on disk utility, the repair option didn’t fix it. it shows on USB category in system information . but it is not working at all.

I tried to connect it with my pc. i have HFS software on my pc. after a long time it recognized it but because of wd locker it just shows unlocker which only works on mac. so i couldn’t back up my files.

any advice PLEASEEEEE.

  • A power supply problem
  • A corrupted or broken drive
  • macOS do not support the drive
  • NTFS read-only problem
  • A damaged USB cable
