3GS Camera Shutter Wont Open(keeps clicking)

Hi there i have an issue with my 3GS 32GB camera the shutter wont open, Ive changed the camera 4 times and also micro soldered a new FPC camera connector. Also ive restored many many times. I know for a fact its a hardware issue.

But still the same issue, any fuses or components i should be looking for to replace?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

My best guess is that the camera connector is no longer good. A new board connector replacement is not the best thing to do. Comparing a human solder joint to a machine, the machine's joint is always tighter, and better. Unless you know for a fact that the connections are tight, I don't think it is a solid repair. Could you post pics of it?

Believe me it's a solid repair, I've done both LCD fpc and connector 3

All points have been tested

Any other ideas?

Any inductors or resistors missing perhaps? I can't think of anything that would stop it from working other than a hardware issue either. My guess is as good as yours then. I'd really like to know as well if you do find something though.

nothing missing, i also check with another logicboard and tested all the components around the Camera FPC.

Im clueless i think the motherboard is slightly bent in that area, maybe from a pregnant battery from water damaged. Maybe there a trace broken inside of the motherboard is my best guess.

Who knows

maybe oldturkey will have the schematics for 3gs..then you can check out which chips are responsible for your camera, otherwise you'll be looking for a needle in a haystack. if the board is slightly bent in that area you could take the plastic wrap off the back and take a look at the dark blue lines near the bend...they should be the plastic cover over the trace..scrape off the dark blue line, follow from camera to bend and look for breaks then re-tin/solder to fill any break you find.
