Touch issues following screen replacement

Hi all, just a quick question. I have an Xs that is giving “ghost “ touches following a screen replacement. The new screen is not oem and has not been reprogrammed (so no true tone) as I don’t have a JC V1 yet.

Is it a common problem or am I just lucky?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Put back the original screen or another good working screen to rule out if the defect is in the replacement screen or logic board.

could always be a defective screen. id say if you are getting parts from anyone besides a trusted parts distro center (fixit, mobile sentrix, injured gadgets just to name a few) you are going to run into some rough parts. always go as close to oem as possible as well.
