Replaced broken LCD, No Backlight! Please Help

Replaced the screen on the Macbook Pro 13” Early 2015. The backlight in the broken screen was fine. I replaced the screen with a new one and the backlight will not work. I tried a PRAM reset and everything else i could think of. Nothing works. I reinstalled the broken screen and the backlight still works on it. Any ideas before i chalk it up to a dead backlight on this display?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I think you do have a bad or incorrect display!

I would return the part and try another source here’s one that has one: Retina MacBook Pro 13" Complete Display, Used Grade-B, Apple P/N 661-02360 These displays are getting hard to find! Used is about all you can get these days.

Thanks. This is a new screen that I purchased from Amazon.com. I could only find China retailers on Ebay

I have two systems that I need new displays - Still waiting for new or Grade-A units.

I don't buy off of Amazon to eBay as I find a good amount of time I get burn't and I don't have the time or patience to deal with the returns and the bickering.
