Sensitivity of the ribbon cable under the middle of the bottom case?

When you hold the case with one hand from the bottom, the bottom case moves inwards and touched something. Will this damage the trackpad and keyboard cable?

Rubbing is not good for Apple flatflexes - look how we have to fix our 2011/12 MBPs because of the problems rubbing creates. Don’t let it happen more then it has to unless you want to change the cable.

is moving bottom case normal?

by

@ondsari A little bit generally doesn't hurt it, but if it happens too much yeah... It's going to get damaged with time.

It's not good for it, but it won't hurt unless it rubs hard for *years*.

Thanks for your support. I just realized yesterday that it was moving, maybe it just happened to me 3-5 times. Should I worry?

by

@ondsari I wouldn't worry if it's still functional. 3-5 cases doesn't damage the cable.

The problem is age - the 2011/12 MBPs have issues from years of rubbing.
