Best way to prevent further water damage?

Since it’s impossible to disassemble with little effort or risk of damaging the screen. Is there a valid solution to prevent the device from taking water damage?

Is a complete isopropyl alcohol bath an option?

@fxt if you are wondering if it will work to submerge the whole Surface Pro into an alcohol bath, then the answer is no. You will have residue on the motherboard once the alcohol evaporates. The only way to properly clean and inspect it and to prevent corrosion damage etc. is by opening it up and cleaning it properly.
