Where can I buy cheap iPhone screens?

I want to open an iPhone screen repair as a side buisness. I am buying the Pro Tech Toolkit from ifixit, but I need parts and screens. How can I buy a large amount of screens for a cheap price? Does each screen really cost $50+? Also I would preferably buy from a site like this or Amazon, I’ve had bad experiance with Chinease companies. Please help. Thank you

Hi @judemcintyre19 if you are going to begin a business you can apply for iFixit pro wholesale and can get a discount on items on their store. Best of luck with your side business! https://pro.ifixit.com/

Definitely avoid Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, and Craigslist for your parts. iFixit does have their pro wholesaler option. There are also websites like Mobile Defenders, MobileSentrix, Injured Gadgets, and Group Vertical.

Also from one tech to another, there are LCD options for iPhones that use OLED. DO NOT use LCD panels on phones that were designed with OLED panels. It'll save you a lot of headache. Good luck!

Depends what sort of risk you want to take!

I’ve never actually used any iFixit parts, but their warranty and quality seems to be top-notch. THAT is what you’re paying for with iFixit. Everything they do is FOR the repairer. They make your life easy, painless, and stress free. That’s why you pay 2-5x more than you pay for things off eBay

Personally, I use screens off eBay. But that can be risky, so I offer warranties on screens. Every so often, a screen will just arrive dead, die shortly after fitting, and if you’re unlucky, it might cause even more damage to your device! If you want to go for the cheapo screens you see on places like Alibaba and eBay, feel free. Most of the time, they’ll work fine, and you’ll have many happy budget focused customers. But be prepared to cover yourself when the worst happens, that replacement for a dodgy screen will be coming out of your pocket, not the original seller’s.
