My Maytag washer won’t finish a spinning cycle
It leaves the clothes still wet.

The most common reason is because the load in the drum is not balanced, so the tub won’t spin at full speed. If the machine starts to bang and thump and move around when it tries to spin dry the clothes, then this is your problem. If you only have a few items inside, and one is large compared to the others, you could try adding more large things like towels, and re-starting the machine at the start of the wash cycle again. You could also try opening up the door and moving the clothes around inside to try to re-balance them.
I’ve also had this happen when the pump that removes the water fails. In my case, the pump was jammed up with small objects (a drill bit, some safety pins) and once I removed those, the pump started working fine again. A bit messy and you’ll need a screw driver to remove the front cover and get at the pump. Unplug the washer from the wall and see if you can find a you.tube video to walk you through that one.

I also have this problem...machine purchased in 3/17...fixed 2 months ago. Then broke again this week...waiting for parts that may or may not work.
