IPod needing to be reset after changing battery... Any suggestions

I have changed the battery after using the easy to read install guide on Ifixit.com. The battery seemed to work fine. After charging the battery and then restarting the ipod it went into reboot mode. Now it is stuck on

Accessorize Test

LCD ID : 2

FWPWR : 0

All the other diognostics up to this point went right through and now it is stuck on this test or setting.

Any suggestions or remidies?

Thanks in advance,

It wont restore and the hard drive keeps making this on off sound ended with a click? Is the hard drive bad now too? I will go ahead and check all the connections again but it still seems not right.

it is possile that in the process of changing the battery, you may have dislodged a connector such as the one for the hard drive, try opening it up again, and checking your connections, or just restore it, and see if it works after that.
