My apple desktop keeps ‘buffering ‘and the beach ball spinning thing goes round. Can someone wipe it for me as it is full of software that I don't want. I will pay. It is an old computer

That’s what I do for a living. Please give the serial number from the back of the machine so we know what you have and maybe I can tell you how to do it yourself and what upgrades may be possible.
