Why does the screen not work after opening?

I did a tear down of my iphone 4 today and now the screen doesn't work. everything else seems to be fine. I triple checked my work. Any ideas as to how this happened?

did you check the battery if its connected right try unplugging it and plug it back in also make sure you clean the slot cause our fingers have gease so it might weaken the iphones signal
