None of the microphones working after repair

A friend smashed his phone up pretty bad. Bent, broken front and back. Ordered OEM complete housing with components, and a screen. Pretty simple repair usually. Everything went well except bot neither microphone work at all (normal phone call or on speakerphone) no one can hear me on the other end. The test of the components seem to work find on each flex that shares the mic which is odd (camera, charger port, etc) which I would think eliminates the whole cable being bad. Help?

I think it may have to do with defective, incomplete flex cables included in the housing I ordered. Anyone have any input on this? Photos attached. It appears chips and solder connections are missing from new cable.[image|1981763][image|1981762]

Options

If the phone has been bent there is a good chance of broken traces and or cracked solder balls under either of the two audio IC’s or if you are unlucky enough the CPU.

 If you have ruled out parts this would be the next road to go down.
