My brother spilt water on me and some of the water got into my laptops keyboard and some on the screen. I wiped what I could closed the screen and moved to another area turning it back on to use it. Then the screen starting to flash and my laptop turned off. Now whenever I press the power button it doesnt turn on. But the things at the bottom light up…how do I fix it please?

The impurities in the water causes corrosion and provides circuit paths for the electricity which were not in the laptop’s operating design and could damage the components.
First do not turn on your laptop and then you need to remove the battery as soon as possible from the laptop to minimize any further damage.
Then you need to dis-assemble the rest of the laptop and clean all the affected parts using Isopropyl Alcohol 99%+ (available from electronics parts stores) to remove all traces of corrosion and water. Do not use "rubbing alcohol" as in some cases this is only 70% IPA or less, can contain scents and is not as effective. If you do have to use it, check the label to verify the amount of IPA. The higher the % the better

You may have to replace the keyboard as usually you can create more problems in the keyboard than what you had in attempting to repair it.
As always with electronics, especially surface mounted PCBs be gentle when handling and especially when brushing away the corrosion. You do not want to remove any components from the board.
Hopefully after you have done all this the laptop might possibly work correctly again.

My laptop was sitting in a pool of water and now whenever I turn it on it just comes up with a bunch of writing and asking me to press any key it won’t show any other screen than that, and all the bottom lights are on, how do I get it to work please?
