Hi @iamfixer ,

Is there a pattern to the LED lights blinking?

Here’s a link that may be of some help.

Update (01/14/2020)

Hi @iamfixer,

Try a BIOS reset and check if this resolves the problem.

Here’s how to do this:

Turn off the laptop and disconnect the charger from the laptop.

Use the service manual to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the battery (p.27) and the RTC battery (p.60 - Note: remember the orientation of the battery so that you put it back in the correct way after, look for the +ve symbol on the battery).

Once both batteries have been removed, press and hold the laptop’s Power button for 30 seconds and then release the power button to dissipate any residual power in the laptop.

This will restore the BIOS to its’ default condition.

Hopefully if is is just corrupted data and not a faulty eeprom then it may work.

Next, replace the RTC battery (see Note above) and the main battery as per the service manual.

When the laptop has been restored to a user workable condition, reconnect and switch on the charger and then try to turn on the laptop and check what happens.
