Digitizer not responding after fall but no visible damage

Hi all,

the digitizer on my iPhone 3G is not responding at all after a fall, but there isn't any visible damage. I have no tools at hand to open the phone right now. What are the chances that the digitizer is broken or that a connector just came unplugged?

cheap option is to open and check the connector 2. buying a new digitiser is pretty cheap and relatively easy to do. You might first like to try a reset and save even more hassle. hold power and home for 10 seconds until the apple appears, then release the button and allow to reboot,

Thanks. Tried forced reboot already and didn't help. Will open and check connectors first as soon as I have tools at hand. If that doesn't do the trick I will go for the new digitizer.
