White screen is usually indicative of a failed hard drive. Try booting from an external USB source. Also, do you have the 21” or the 27”? The 27” was the one with the GPU issues, not the 21”.

Hi,thanks for replying.

The iMac i have is a 21.5" As seen in this pictures(https://ibb.co/album/ezNnka) i thought it might be a gpu issue. Also what should i try to boot from an external USB source?Mac os?

Thanks,

Alright I’ll give it a try once i reached home.

I've tried OS X Lion and it also booted up with a white screen.

Hook it up to an external monitor and see if you are getting anything. This is unusual, it should have booted from the Lion. Please test that start up USB device on another Mac that will run it.

I would also like you to try just booting into Safe Mode with your internal drive by holding down the Shift key on startup, you may have an issue with the software you installed to turn off the graphic driver.
