What is the procedure for upgrading the processor in my computer?

I have a Dell Latitude D505 and I am wanting to upgrade the processor to the Pentium M735. I am not sure of the procedure to disassemble the laptop or the procedure for replacing the processor. Can someone help me out?

The m735 processor is the largest processor supported by your motherboard's chip set. Here is documentation showing that. Here is the service manual. All the procedures for dismantling the laptop and installing the processor are in it.

It's actually rare to find a laptop with an upgradable CPU. The CPU in it is probably soldered to the motherbored, which means it's next to impossible to get it off without damaging something else. You're better off seeing if theres a motherboard for that exact machine but with the new CPU
