My laptop light flashes orange after i plug it on for a few minutes then turns off, when i press power button it does not switch on why?

Have you checked that the charger’s output voltage is OK?

It should be 20V DC.

Can you try another known working, compatible charger to check if the battery starts charging OK (solid orange light)?

If the charger’s output is OK, try disconnecting the charger and holding the laptop’s Power button for 4-5 seconds and then release.

Reconnect the charger and check if the laptop’s battery starts to charge (solid orange light).

If it does, allow it to fully charge (white light) before attempting to turn on the laptop.
