Is my battery dead or is it the dc-in jack?

i have a similar problem. i have replaced my dc-in board and my battery still wont charge. it is at 0% and works fine while plugged in. i have tried resetting the pram to no avail. these are my battery stats:

Battery Installed: Yes

First low level warning: No

Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 65475

Remaining Capacity (mAh): 0

Amperage (mA): 0

Voltage (mV): 8696

Cycle Count: 65535

Bad battery, if it says 0 for remaining capacity, this means all the cells are drained completely

Over time, cells lose thier capacity to hold power, so you will need to change the battery at some point

You can take this pack apart and rebuild it, but this is dangerous if you don't take your time and one screw up could cause a short and a fire, so stay away from this if you aren't patient or have no clue what you are doing

Have a professional company do it if you want to rebuild the battery
